I scream out do you know what i have been through to be here with you the earth responds with the drowning sound i know i have been there too we climb pillars of understanding but who can reach the standing ground and the silence mirrors the sun exposing everything in the revolving door of wonder you circle round my mind there is a face in the clouds it is your breath on my lips i am dying and dying to know i have been for a while is anything anything enough am i really hear i seem to be drowning i call out over the water the earth shaking response of the crashing waves agree we reach with wonder for a coming hope and we are coming home like lightening that strays from the cloud of it's birth but always returns.

Alive with thoughts and full to the seems i watch the rain as it builds a mansion i think of the future and shake to the bones walking home soaked and alone but i cannot help but be ready to walk out this door into the face of fear fear of the unknown i am certain of little but i am sure i will be there to great with a smile a different life pour me out until i overflow fill me up and make me new i wonder were this road is going and i long for an understanding dreaming of inner stability wondering if it is possible.

What would i gain if i had everything but was cold to the touch if i became something to all but no one to myself look around and see them just like me with thoughts and feelings may i never speak of you in the past tense death you have no sting but i still hear loved ones calling out my name death you have no place but i still see the stones and the graves and realize they are all mine who am i but the faces i pass and the leaves and the grass and it all comes back round ashes to ash and dust to dust and the way of the whole earth but it is never too late to love if only we knew to hold life until the last breath in the last breath and cherish light in the eyes until it goes out not to put a price or reason but to listen to every breath and to see everything and not be afraid of ourselves i can hear a door in the air.
